Born in Long Beach California Leslie Alsenz has loved art and design since she was a small child. She has a degree from UCLA in Political Science. She Attended Art Center College of Design where she received a degree in Graphic Design. She now spends her time in her 1928 bungalow in Newport Beach or her mid century modern house in the Coachella valley.

Artist Statement
I have found great gratification creating opulent paintings combining my textile design background with a loving observation of nature. I enjoys abstracting subjects and letting the painting ebb and flow in and out of being representational to abstract.
